Nortek specializes in IBM ThinkPad LCD screen repair. Our Display Division provides high volume repair and refurbish services for all manufacturers' products including IBM, Viewsonic, Hitachi, Samsung, Sharp, LG, Toshiba and Sony.

Common LCD screen and flat panel monitor services include polarizer (front screen protective layer) replacement, tab driver replacement, damaged interconnection replacement, controller repairs, back light replacement, inverter repairs, and cosmetic remanufacturing. We also offer a full line of services for CRT type displays. Repair / refurbish pricing ranges from as low as $70 USD for many CRT repairs up through to approximately $400 USD for a high end desktop flat panel monitor.

All repairs and overhauls carry a minimum 90 day warranty. Free estimates are available; however, the customer is responsible for both incoming and outgoing shipping charges.

There are many varied forms of LCD failures: sometimes only a portion of the screen is affected, vertical and horizontal patterns are common due to the tab driver configuration, the entire display can be blank, dim or coloured, the polarizer can be physically damaged, and the entire display can be mishandled and cracked.
