Nortek Computers Rolls Out Quality Management Program and Targets Early 2007 ISO Certification

North Bay, Ontario (December 12, 2006)
The Nortek management team is pleased to announce our ISO quality certification initiative. As of today, we are on schedule for completion of the necessary steps required for a preliminary quality audit in January 2007 with final certification shortly thereafter in March of 2007.

This initiative allows us to offer both our existing and new customers worldwide, the quality assurance they expect in all aspects of our operation, as outlined by the members of the International Organization for Standardization ( ISO ).

By achieving and adhering to the standards certification we can assure our customer base of a quality finished product compliant to an internationally adopted standard, insuring form fit and function to meet or in many cases exceed original equipment specifications.
