RoHS Compliance

The European Union Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) comes into effect July 1, 2006.

This important environmental protection measure aims to reduce hazardous materials in the components and manufacturing process of electronic equipment. In preparation for this date, Nortek has been working with our suppliers and clients to ensure our boards and board components will meet the material restrictions on lead, cadmium, mercury, and other substances deemed hazardous by the RoHS directive.

We are committed to achieving RoHS compliance.
